Reasons I'm Glad I'm Going To Alaska

  1. Although there are mosquitoes by the ton and Mom's place is infested with mice, no West Nile virus and no Hantavirus.
  2. Clean air and clean water.
  3. Eighteen hours of daylight.
  4. Homegrown potatoes, peas, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, gooseberries and raspberries.
  5. People who've loved me almost my entire life.

    I love how "No Hantavirus" is number one, and "People who have loved me my whole life" is number 5. that's freaking hilarious!

    Note to self: Incorporate hantavirus into future post.
